SOLVING
INEQUALITIES |
|
A lot of teachers take shortcuts
in solving linear equations but a good practice is to make
sure that students know the basic steps.
For example: When solving for
x, when 3x + 8 = 14, students may readily
say that 3 times 2 plus 8 equals 14 and they may not go
through the process. But the process is important. When
the process is learned
for an easy problem that process will stay with you for
more difficult problems. |
