THE
SCIENCE BEHIND FLIGHT - THE TAKEOFF PHASE OF FLIGHT |
|
After reaching the end of the taxiway,
your pilot maneuvers the aircraft to the centerline of the runway
to commence the takeoff phase of flight. You sit in your seat maybe
a little restless, as you are not able to see where the plane is pointed
or hear what is going on in the flight deck. You may be thinking "the
takeoff phase is probably one of the hardest functions for a pilot,
right?"
Not really. The takeoff phase is a relatively easy phase of flight
for the pilot once the proper controls are in place. |
