Aerial Robotics Virtual (ARVL) Lab Installation Instructions. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University logo

ERAU-Worldwide, in partnership with Pinnacle Solutions, developed the Aerial Robotics Virtual Laboratory (ARVL) to serve as an interactive simulation tool to explore the elements, design, and application of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Throughout this course, you will explore aspects of UAS design and configuration, including interaction and practice using tools such as ARVL.

Note: The application is approximately 150 MB in size. It could take up to 30 minutes or longer to download. You may gauge your download time by checking your internet download speed by visiting Speedtest.net.

Desktop Operating System

  • 4 GB RAM or Higher
  • Graphics card which supports DirectX 9 or later.
  • Intel Core 2 Duo processor or equivalent

Download

Instructions for installing on Windows®:

  1. Download the .exe file for Windows® 7 / 8 / 10
  2. Execute win.exe
  3. Enter the Login Hash Key Code: BgZnsA==
Instructions for installing on a Mac®:
  1. Download the zip file for Mac OS® X 10.7 or later
  2. Extract the folder it contains
  3. Execute ARVL.app within the Mac folder
  4. Enter the Login Hash Key Code: BgZnsA==

Note:

  • The Key Code is case sensitive and includes the 2 equal signs on the end. Copying and Pasting is ideal.
  • Ignore any security warning and proceed by selecting 'Open'.

  4. Execute ARVL
