Note: When y1 = y2, the line l will always be a horizontal line and the slope (m) of l will always equal to 0 since y1 – y2 = 0 and 0 divided by any non-zero number is 0.

Thus, when the slope (m) is zero, you will always have a horizontal line and the line will always contain the y-coordinates of the points as shown.
