The graph shown is the graph

When a function is defined as a graph, there is
an easy test to decide whether the graph represents a function. It is
called the Vertical
Line Test. Basically hold a pencil (representing a vertical
line) in a vertical position and slide the pencil across the graph, if
there
is more than one point where the pencil intersects the
graph, then the curve is not the graph of a function. |
