REVIEW OF AERODYNAMIC TERMS - THRUST

Thrust is the force produced by the aircraft engines. Aircraft engines generate thrust (or power) to move the aircraft on the ground and in the air. Different types of engines (similar to car engines) generate different levels of thrust depending on the design of the aircraft (i.e. efficiency of wing design or function of the aircraft).
