DISTANCE
= RATE x TIME PROBLEMS |
|
Let’s look at problems
involving distance, rate and time.
Did you ever ask yourself
when traveling, “Are we there yet?”
For example, you've probably said to yourself at one time
or another something like this, “If our rate of speed is 60 miles
per hour, in 4 hours we would have traveled 240 miles.”
That problem is
a basic Distance = Rate • Time problem. |
