INTRODUCTION Part 2 of this introductory module provides additional fundamental concepts of electrical and electronic theory. As a continuation of Part 1, this section offers an introduction to circuit design types and their characteristics. Also included are several familiarization screens on the most commonly found test equipment in use, and explanations covering transformer and generator operation. Although we cannot do much more than scratch the surface in a single module—even practicing engineers find it difficult to stay informed of the most recent developments—the knowledge you gain here will establish a solid foundation of the basics. 1 of 61
