SERIES
CIRCUITS |
|
A SERIES CIRCUIT is defined as a circuit
that contains only ONE PATH for current flow.
To compare a very basic circuit with the more complex series circuit,
refer to the schematics shown here.
The basic circuit has only one battery and one lamp, while the series
circuit has one battery, and three lamps connected in series one right
after another.
In other words, the second circuit has a power source, followed by
a “series” of lamps. |
