 INTRODUCTION

This introductory module provides non-technical beginners with some of the fundamental concepts of electrical and electronic theory.

The material starts with explanations regarding the foundations of matter, and culminates with discussions on the various relationships/laws governing electricity and electronic components.

Note that this module is not intended for the technician or troubleshooter, but for those seeking a more general learning experience regarding the field of electronics. For this reason, many of the more elaborate mathematical proofs and theorems (and these are numerous) have been deliberately omitted.
