RELATIONSHIPS
AND LAWS - BASIC FORMULAS |
|
Up to this point, four of the most important
electrical quantities have been discussed. These are voltage (E),
current (I), power (P), and resistance (R).
The relationships that exist among these quantities is critical because
they are used throughout the study of electricity. Previously, P was
expressed in terms of the other three basic quantities E, I, and R.
In practice, any one of these quantities can be expressed in terms
of any two of the others. Shown is a summary of these 12 basic formulas. |
