        Up to this point, four of the most important 
            electrical quantities have been discussed. These are voltage (E), 
            current (I), power (P), and resistance (R). 
             
            The relationships that exist among these quantities is critical because 
            they are used throughout the study of electricity. Previously, P was 
            expressed in terms of the other three basic quantities E, I, and R. 
             
            In practice, any one of these quantities can be expressed in terms
