An ideal current source is a circuit
which maintains a prescribed current through its terminals regardless
of the voltage across those terminals.
Real current sources can be represented as ideal current sources in
parallel with a resistance r.
The Current (Is) is fixed, and does not change e.g. 1A, 5A or 100mA. |
