CONTROL & DESIGN STANDARDS: OUTSIDE AIR

We must filter this contaminated outside environment, and also control or eliminate the particulates generated inside. In fact, for a properly operated cleanroom, it’s not the outside air that poses the greatest threat, or even the equipment and processes used inside (although we can’t ignore those sources either). The biggest concern is the contaminants generated by each one of us while entering and working inside the facility.
