CONTROL & DESIGN
STANDARDS: AIRFLOW |
|
Now that we’ve discussed both airborne
and surface contaminants, and how they are monitored, let’s look at just
how those particles move and spread inside the cleanroom. How air moves
around inside the cleanroom is a critical concern. Improper airflow can
become a contamination superhighway, moving contaminants from place to
place and from one surface to another. The most disruptive airflow pattern
is known as the "vortex effect". |
