PROPER ENTRY PROCEDURES: AIR SHOWER

The air shower chamber is located between the cleanroom and the outside changing room environment. This is the final step in removing any remaining contaminants. The chamber may include HEPA filters, interlocking doors, a re-circulating air system and air nozzles in various patterns through which filtered air is automatically blown. After approximately 30 seconds the process is complete. The shower shuts off and cleanroom entry is permitted.
