CONTROL & DESIGN STANDARDS: GARMENTS

Another element in the control of contaminants is found not only in the use of bunny suits, but also in how changing rooms are designed. One approach is to simply don cleanroom garments in a single room and then exit directly into the cleanroom. These designs often contain one or more zones of cleanliness separated by cross-over benches. Changing first out of your “dirtiest” item; (your footwear), you’ll then cross the bench to enter the next cleaner zone. This continues until all benches are crossed, all cleanroom garments are donned, and you finally enter the cleanroom.
