CONTROL & DESIGN STANDARDS: GARMENTS

Once your bunny suit is properly donned, and just prior to actually entering the cleanroom, you may go through an air shower. This chamber represents the last line of defense against contaminants, and may feature HEPA filters, interlocking doors, re-circulating air systems, and numerous air nozzles. The filtered air that’s blown onto you from all angles is the final step to remove any particulates from your garments. The cleanroom’s specific level of cleanliness will determine if an air shower is required.
