PROPER ENTRY PROCEDURES: SAFETY

(7) Emergency Evacuation: In the event of a fire drill or emergency requiring immediate evacuation, leave the cleanroom through the nearest exit. Don’t bother to remove your garments until you’re out of the building. If you had to sign an entry log to enter, don’t worry about signing out, just report immediately to the nearest fire warden or designated authority.

Remember, too, that besides these general garment safety points, you’ll need to be aware of ALL safety rules governing any facility you enter. These are often posted on changing room walls as a reminder to all personnel.

Evacuation Plan - 1 - the first person noticing the alarm should verbally warn others, 2 - do not take time to ungown, remove badges or sign out, 3 - all personnel shall evacuate and report to the marshaling area.
